Kanupriya originally thought 'reader' would cut it. Years of Carnatic lessons led her to believe 'singer' would be it. Tired of standing in the last row at Annual Day dances, a 'self-taught dancer' came into being. Then the pandemic gave rise to a 'serial procrastinator', but since that doesn't qualify as a real job, a 'writer' was born of boredom. College showed her there was a lot of joy in being a 'theatre artist', a title that encompassed most others. Recorded footage of her first play told her that a camera wouldn't be the worst place to store her writing, dancing, singing, and acting.
